Shelterwrap HD from Shelter Enterprises is a high density underlayment designed to eliminate costly air infiltration. Applied to a home's existing siding before new siding is installed, Shelterwrap HD protects against energy loss. It also provides a perfectly flat surface for better remodeling, and is perforated to reduce condensation.

By installing Shelterwrap HD, you create a highly effective insulating barrier between exterior air once interior living space - enhancing existing insulation performance, conserving energy and allowing heating and cooling systems to operate at peak efficiency.
Some underlayment insulations are made of extruded polystyrene and do not lie flat against the wall. This buckling effect creates an uneven surface for aluminum or vinyl siding - and results in residing projects that are often less than satisfactory.
Shelterwrap HD is made of high density expanded polystyrene and provides a completely level surface. Because of its hinged fold, it lies perfectly flat on the wall - creating a superior underlayment for siding while simplifying handling and installation.
