Thermal Performance
STYROFOAM Tapered DECKMATE Plus insulation has an R-value** of 5.0 per inch. This thermal efficiency means that you can use thinner
cross sections, yet achieve higher average R-values than with other tapered insulating materials – a potential materialand labor-saving benefit for roof decks with perimeter height limitations.
Compressive Strength
With a minimum compressive strength of 25 psi, STYROFOAM Tapered DECKMATE Plus insulation will stand up under foot traffic, ballast and other roof loads for years without deforming. Its outstanding performance has been proven in flat roofing systems for more than 30 years.
